Washington, Dec 23 (ANI): Millions of Harry Potter fans have a reason to celebrate, after author J.K. Rowling hinted of plans to add an eighth book to the boy wizard franchise.

The author, who has been ranked third in Time magazine’s Person of the Year list, brought the series to an end earlier this year (07), with the release of the seventh novel, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.

However, the 42-year-old author has admitted to having felt the temptation to revisit the world of Hogwarts just one more time, although the story may no longer be built around the title character.

“There have been times since finishing, some weak moments, when I’ve said, ‘Yeah, all right’, to an eighth novel, Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

“But if - and it’s a big if - I ever write an eighth book about the wizarding world, I doubt Harry would be the central character,” she added. (ANI)
